SSC CGL 2013 notification is released by www.ssc.nic.in, official website of Staff Selection Commission. SSC CGL recruitment 2013 is notified for tier 1 examination. SSC CGL Exam 2013 will be conducted to recruit cadres for various posts. SSC CGL 2013 is the short form for SSC Combined Graduate Level 2013.

SSC CGL 2013 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be a citizen of India as per the rules of Government of India to apply for SSC CGL recruitment 2013.

Age Limit (as on 1st January, 2013):

Age for Inspector of Income Tax/Inspector (Central Excise)/Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/Inspector of Posts/Assistant Enforcement Officer/Inspector (CBN) Compiler/ Divisional Accountant/Auditors/UDCs/Tax Assistants/Junior Accountant & Accountant/Sub-Inspector (CBN) must be between 18 and 27 years i.e born not earlier than 2nd January, 1986 and not later than 1st January, 1995 to apply for SSC Combined Graduate Level 2013.

Age for Statistical Investigator Grade II should not be exceeding 26 years (born date not earlier than 2nd January, 1987) to apply for SSC CGL Exam 2013.

Age for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI must be between 20 and 27 years (born date not earlier than 2nd January, 1986 and not later than 1st January, 1993) to apply for SSC CGL 2013.

Relaxation in age limit shall be given category-wise as per the rules and regulations of Staff Selection Commission and Government of India to apply for SSC CGL recruitment 2013.

Educational Qualification (as on 1st January, 2013):

For Compiler: candidates must have a degree of Bachelor with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or elective subject to apply for SSC Combined Graduate Level 2013 of Compiler.

For Statistical Investigator Grade–II: candidates with Bachelor Degree in Statistics as one of the main subject or in Mathematics or in Economics or in Commerce can apply for SSC CGL 2013 of Statistical Investigator Grade–II.

For All Other Posts: candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent to apply for SSC CGL Exam 2013.

For Male:

Physical Standards for Inspector:

• Height: 157.5 cms
• Chest – 81 cms with minimum 5 cms expansion

Physical Test:

• Walking: 1600 meters in 15 minutes
• Cycling: 8 kms in 30 minutes

For Female:

Physical Standards for Inspector:

• Height: 152 cms
• Weight: 48 kgs

Physical Test:

• Walking: 1 km in 20 minutes
• Cycling: 3 kms in 25 minutes

For Sub Inspector in CBI:

• Height for Men: 165 cms
• Height for Women: 150 cms

Height is relaxable upto 5 cms for Hillsmen and Tribals.

• Chest: 76 cms with expansion

SSC CGL Exam 2013 Pattern:

There will be Tier 1 of written examination with objective types of Multiple Choice questions. There will be Tier 2 of written examination with MCQs. In Tier 3 there will be Personality Test cum Interview/CPT/Skill Test/Document Verification.

How to Apply:

Eligible applicants are advised to apply online or offline in the prescribed format during the given period for SSC CGL 2013 tier 1 exam.

Application Fee: candidates have to pay Rs. 100 (all women/SC/ST/PH/EXSM candidates are exempted from paying the application fee) as application fee of SSC CGL Exam 2013.

Candidates can deposit the application fee either by offline application by using CRFS or online application using through Challan Form or online account with SBI.
