www.jeemain.nic.in is the official website of JEE (Main) known as Joint Entrance Examination. JEE Main 2013 replaces AIEEE 2013 for admission to Undergraduate Engineering programmes in IITs, NITs and other centrally funded technical institutions etc.

About Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2013:

Now, AIEEE 2013 will be known as JEE (Main) 2013. Joint Entrance Examination will be held in two parts - JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced). www.jeemain.nic.in 2013 will be gateway of JEE (Advanced) 2013 earlier known as IIT JEE.

Only 150, 000 candidates from all categories based on the performance of JEE (Main) 2013 will qualify to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2013.

JEE Apex Board on JEE (Main) and (Advanced) got a direction from MHRD to conduct JEE Main Examination 2013 hitherto known as AIEEE Paper 1 for admission to BE/B.Tech courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs.

www.jeemain.nic.in 2013 (paper 1 of earlier AIEEE) for BE/B.Tech will be held in two modes – offline and online (CBT). JEE Main 2013 (paper 2 of earlier AIEEE) for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held in offline mode.

There will be two papers - Paper-1 and Paper-2. Candidates may take either paper 1/paper 2 or both papers.

JEE (Main) 2013 Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: candidates with certificate of class 12 in 2011 or 2012 or appearing students in class 12 may apply for www.jeemain.nic.in 2013.

Age Limit: age of applicants should fall on or after 1st October, 1988 and in case of SC/ST/PWD 1st October, 1983 to apply for JEE Main Exam 2013.

Number of Attempts for www.jeemain.nic.in:

JEE (Main) is limited by 3 attempts.

JEE Main 2013 Result and Score:

JEE Main 2013 results for both papers will be declared by 7th May, 2013. JEE Main 2013 result will comprise actual marks with the status of qualifying details to appear in JEE Advanced 2013.

Separate rank list will be published on 7th July, 2013 prepared on the basis of score of JEE Main and normalized score in class 12 or other qualifying examination for admission to BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning.

JEE (Main) Rank Card indicating All India Rank (AIR), State Rank and Category Rank with total marks and marks in each paper will be published at www.jeemain.nic.in or www.jeemain-edu.in on 8th July, 2013 onwards.

JEE Main 2013 rank card will be dispatched to the qualified candidates from 12th July, 2013 onwards by ordinary post. Candidates may approach for the duplicate JEE (Main) 2013 rank card along with the DD of Rs. 50 in favour of Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi/New Delhi between 1st August, 2013 and 31st August, 2013.

JEE Main 2013 Counselling and Admission Procedure:

On the basis of AIR of JEE Main 2013, candidates will be offered for their choices. Candidates need to visit: www.jeemain.nic.in for the details of JEE Main 2013 counselling and admission procedure.

JEE Main 2013 Admit Card:

JEE Main 2013 Admit card will be updated at www.jeemain.nic.in or www.jeemain-edu.in from 1st March, 2013 onwards. Candidates are advised to download JEE (Main) 2013 Admit card only by www.jeemain.nic.in or www.jeemain-edu.in.

Candidates should check JEE Main 2013 Admit card or JEE Main 2013 hall ticket carefully for Name, Paper, Date of Birth, Gender, Test Centre Name, City, State Code of Eligibility and Category. No candidate will be allowed to sit in examination without www.jeemain.nic.in Admit card.
